BMPII Backnang Für die Maßnahme BMPII Backnang – Erneuerung Bahnsteig 2 und Neubau Aufzug Bahnsteig 3 ist die umfassende Erneuerung und Modernisierung der Verkehrsanlagen im Bahnhof Backnang vorgesehen. Hierzu wird der bestehende Mittelbahnsteig 2 zurückgebaut, verkürzt und anschließend vollständig neu errichtet. Im Zuge der Bahnsteigerneuerung werden zudem die erforderlichen 50-Hz-Maßnahmen umgesetzt sowie die Medientrennung hergestellt.
