Die Harzwasserwerke GmbH planen am Standort des Trinkwasserhochbehälters Groß Döhren (Gemeinde Liebenburg) die Erweiterung der bestehenden Anlage um einen dritten Trinkwasserhochbehälter (HB III). Der als runder Stahlbetonbehälter ausgeführte Neubau mit einem Speichervolumen von ca. 20.000 m³ wird nördlich des bestehenden Hochbehälters HB II errichtet.
