Mit dem Projekt Umbau und Sanierung „Alte Bleiche“ im Ortskern von Markt Altenstadt, wird ein ortsbildprägendes Ensemble im Bereich einer unter Denkmalschutz stehenden historischen Siedlungsstruktur erhalten und denkmalgerecht saniert. Es besteht aus der als Einzeldenkmal eingeordneten „Neuen Bleiche“, dem benachbarten „Erlanger Haus“ mit Nebengebäude und den umgebenden Freianlagen.
