The Ordnance Corps has a requirement to recruit and train personnel for the role of Armourer and Armament Artificer Instrumentation (AAI) annually. These technical skillsets are essential to the Ordnance Corps' responsibility to inspect and maintain Defence Forces weapon systems. Student Armourers and AAI's must complete a four (4) year Ordnance Trainee Technician Scheme (TTS).
