Das Land Sachsen-Anhalt hat Geldmittel in Höhe von EUR 3,5 Mrd. über eine eigene Anlagearchitektur in mehrere vom Land aufgelegte Spezialfonds investiert. Das Anlageuniversum erstreckt sich dabei breit diversifiziert auf die globalen Aktien- und Anleihenmärkte. Es besteht ein Spezialfonds für Gelder mit kurzfristigem Anlagehorizont (Elbe-Fonds) und ein Fonds für Gelder mit langfristigem Anlagehorizont (Brocken-Fonds).
