Die Maßnahme umfasst die bauliche Instandsetzung und die Einrichtung einer Ausstellung in der Zeppelintribüne (Länge ca. 360m) und auf dem Zeppelinfeld (Maße ca. 360m x 360m) sowie den Um- und Ausbau des ehemaligen Bahnhofs Dutzendteich zum Informationspunkt mit Ticketverkauf. Das Areal und die baulichen Anlagen stammen aus den 1930er Jahren, sind Bestandteil des ehemaligen Reichsparteitagsgeländes und stehen unter Denkmalschutz.
